BLACKROCK HOUSE

‘This family dwelling is made up of four linear blocks, reflecting the form and mass of a nearby cluster agricultural buildings. The main living space is central to the plan, this space bleeds out to an elevated south facing courtyard. An overhanging roof provides coverage from rain and also prevents overheating from the direct sun. The bedrooms are located to the east taking advantage from the morning sun light. A self-contained annex, garage and home office are located to the northwest of the block flexibly designed to become easily linked to the central accommodation.’ Christopher Quinn MOR Architects

‘MOR Architects designed our family home addressing our unique brief from the early stage of the design process. MOR engaged with us regularly & provided practical solutions to unforeseen obstacles through out the course of our self-build project taking into consideration both aesthetics & costs. We are over the moon with the success of the project which was delivered on budget.’ Emma, Homeowner
